H ere is Gwen tonight eating dinner. She woke up from her nap on the wrong side of the bed and couldn't decide whether she wanted mom or dad, to sit or stand or what she wanted for dinner, tortellini or cookies - so we had both! Her and her dad are sick with a cold right now so we understood why she was so moody (plus she is just like her mother).

T he other day Gwen found my 3D glasses from Avatar and she loves wearing them. They are huge even for a adult, but then for her, they are gigantic! She touches the lenses so much that they are covered with sticky finger prints, I'm surprised that she can see out of them

G wen has many talents but dancing is definitely one of them, check our her video below...

HAPPY Holiday!
...<>...<>...<>...<>...<>...<>...

Gwen sure is excited about Santa coming!
Hopefully Santas shop is done making her present in time
since he sent us a letter saying it was back ordered!
We wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas
since we didn't get our cards sent out in time.

G
wen is growing so fast and is so smart.
She is starting to say sentences and understands everything.
She is very tall for her age, she looks like she could be three.

We are so blessed to have her since she brightens our day, every day.

Catching Up

It's been a long time since we last updated our blog, so here's a summary of some of the things Gwen has been doing this summer.

She's gone blueberry picking with her grandma. Notice the leash, it keeps her from running off.

She's been to the beach. As you can see beaches in Oregon are very different from beaches in California.

This is her at Buffalo Wild Wings, celebrating daddy's birthday.

Here is a of video of her playing with her favorite doll.

And like her daddy she's very ticklish.

So long from the happy family!

Springtime!

This week spring arrived in Portland and we finally had some nice weather. After a grey, wet winter, it was sunny and 72 degrees. Gwen got to go outside to play with Lola in our new yard, and she loved it.

Our kitty looked on jealously while Gwen and Lola played outside

After playing all day Gwen took her bath, where she tried to eat all her bubbles.

It's Party Time!

Gwen's first Birthday
was an exciting day for all of us (probably for us more than her since she seemed a little confused by it all). Her and Grandpa played with the balloons before the party. We went out to eat with the Reasers and the local Chinese restaurant and went to Mom and Dads afterwards for the party. She looked at us very puzzled when we all stood around her and sang. What was that thing with fire? Why was everyone looking at her? Even the cake, she couldn't understand why she could just play with it with her fingers and why was it ok to stick her whole face into it.
Gwen didn't eat much of the cake and then we opened presents.

She got a doll that crawls and giggles and when won't stop kissing it. And she got a bucket of blocks and she loved the container more than anything!

Gwen's walking

Since the last video was so popular We are putting up a new one. Gwen is starting to take her first steps. She's a little wobbly but she's getting better every day.
